Ø Our scholarships will
be awarded to deserving students without regard for their caste, color,
religion, location or social conditions. We look only to their merit,
ambition, diligence, and need as factors in our decision to render
assistance.
Most of our scholarship recipients will be from poor and lower-middle
class families from rural areas. Typically educated in ordinary
government schools, these students had to compete with many others,
including those who had the luxuries of private education. Yet, despite
their disadvantages, they overcame their adversities to gain admission to
elite colleges and universities. Helping these intelligent and diligent students
by providing some financial support can enable them to transform not only
their own lives, but the lives of others in their families and villages.
These students and their families have struggled day and night for years
to have even basic necessities. Yet, instead of harboring bitterness over
their condition, they look at society with a positive attitude and a
sincere desire to advance the common good along with their own. A
developing society needs smart, talented youths like them, with the ambition
to succeed and the character to share that success with others.
Ø Depending on the amounts you are planning to
donate and your schedules, we can both plan to give away the scholarships
on your India
trip or give away on your name and provide you with all the details.
Ø If you have amounts different to this, we will
help you fit in any of the available options or we can work with you on a
new program if you have any different ideas.

Any option you choose, we will
provide you with the list of child/children, schools, their names,
pictures, their current education level or their present situation and
keep you posted on their progress in a timely manner.
Ø If you can let us know on your trip to India,
we can as well arrange a meeting with the kids. You get to know them at a
personnel level.
Ø All we are trying to attain in the process is to
have accountability for every penny you donate. End of the day,
that’s indeed a satisfaction for both the organization and
yourselves.
